Cooking & Dining at Rising Sun
Our kitchen has 47 square feet of stainless steel prep tables, commercial quality knives, two large sinks, cutting boards, a Bosch dishwasher, a Samsung refrigerator and LG propane range, and all the necessary appliances you’re likely to need.
It has a full range of commercial quality pots and pans as well as the wonderfully sharp knives. We also have a small library of some of our favorite cookbooks for your use. And for outdoor cooking, there's a large grill. |
You (or your private chef) can close the swinging kitchen door if you want to focus on your cooking; or if you want to interact with your family or guests while cooking, you can leave the door to the living room open.
We think you’ll thoroughly enjoy cooking in our kitchen… and your lucky family or guests can be served at multiple locations. For a small, informal breakfast, there are a table and stools with views of the water. For more formal dining, our main dinner table in the living room offers panoramic water views and seats ten. If there are more of you, an additional table and chairs will be set up prior to your arrival.
Or, if you wish to dine outside, there’s seating for eight on the northern deck, and informal seating at a bistro table for four on the southern deck. You can also picnic down by the water, or at one of the seating areas located at the most scenic spots along our quarter-mile trail.
